Consoles menu

Consoles are work-list views of information in vintrace relating to specific areas of your business. They allow you to manage your winery operations at different times of the year.

  • Sampling: Record and manage maturity data on your fruit in the lead up to harvest. See this section of the Harvest Guide for more.
  • Fruit Intake: Manage harvest scheduling, fruit arrival and the preparation of crush work orders. See the Harvest guide for more detail.
  • Product: The Product Overview that gives you a status on all bulk products including work order history, analysis, additions and composition across all your years of production.
  • Ferment: During the Harvest/Vintage period you can see all your currently fermenting wine in one place. You can enter new ferment analysis, view analytical history, manually stop ferments and schedule cellar note / work orders from here. See this section of the Harvest Guide for more.
  • Lab: Make bulk entries of outstanding analysis requests in the Lab console. Entries can be made either by manually entering or loading data from standard electronic formats.
  • Inventory: Search for current stock levels as well as perform inventory actions on all Advanced Inventory stock items.
  • Trial blend: Create and manage your trial blends from this console. You can also schedule blend notes directly from here when it is time to actually create your blends.
  • Weather: View weather history reports or manually enter new weather readings here.
  • Tank map: View your Tank Map here.
  • Job management: Search for and complete outstanding work orders. More information can be found here.
  • Equipment schedule: Gives you a visual timeline so you can plan your tank, fermenter and bottling utilization. It provides a centralized view of work for everyone to see. This is only available for customers on a vintrace Enterprise subscription. More information can be found here.
  • Job calendar: Allows you to see all your fruit bookings, work orders, inventory notes, production jobs, and general tasks for a particular month/week/day in a calendar view. More information can be found here.
  • Harvest calendar: Allows you to see all your fruit bookings for a particular month/week/day. This is only available for customers on a vintrace Professional or Enterprise subscription. More information can be found here.
  • Production job: Shows a list of your upcoming Production Jobs. You can also calculate the required raw materials and/or create purchase orders from this console. This is only available for customers on a vintrace Enterprise subscription. More information can be found here.
  • Plant & Vessel: A configuration view for you to edit your Tank Map layout.
  • Reports: Access to the vintrace Reporting console.
  • Declare Wine (US only): declare one or more fermented wines at one time; allows you to specify declaration date. More information can be found here
  • TTB Event History (US only): shows all tax events recorded for different tax classes and bonds. More information can be found here
  • Wine addition impact reportAllows you to find all wines that have been impacted by a certain additive or additive lot (e.g. if you ever needed to recall a product based on the use of a certain additive or lot). More information can be found here.

  1. has anybody used the weather data console. I have managed to put a BOM weather station location and LAT/LONG coordinates in but nothing is happening. Please dont tell me you have to manually enter daily weather observations from BOM site to VinX2??

    Has any body used this console feature.

      There is a small fee attached to an automated data feed from a BOM weather station. It’s automated so that you aren’t required to manually enter results. Please email sales@vinx2.com for a quote or more information. Please let them know how many weather stations you are looking to link in.
